A quick and delightful way to satisfy your sweet tooth with two simple ingredients, these light and fluffy donuts offer a healthier twist on traditional desserts.
Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup self-rising flour
1 cup plain yogurt (preferably Greek for a creamier texture)
Powdered sugar for dusting (optional)
Cinnamon for a touch of warmth (optional)
Melted chocolate for drizzling (optional)
Sprinkles for decoration (optional)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of self-rising flour and 1 cup of plain yogurt. Mix until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
Grease a donut pan with non-stick spray or oil, and optionally dust with flour.
Spoon the batter into the prepared donut pan, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Let the pan cool for about 5 minutes, then transfer the donuts to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar, drizzle with melted chocolate, or sprinkle with cinnamon and sprinkles.
