Ingredients
Scale:
1 cup almond flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup almond butter
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons almond milk
Chopped nuts (optional)
Mini chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, salt, and chocolate protein powder. Whisk these dry ingredients together until evenly combined, ensuring there are no lumps.
In another bowl, mix the wet ingredients: maple syrup, almond butter, vanilla extract, and almond milk. Stir until the mixture is smooth and well blended.
Pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until a thick dough forms. If too dry, add more almond milk, one tablespoon at a time.
Fold in any optional toppings, such as chopped nuts or mini chocolate chips.
Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough, roll them into balls, and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to firm up the bites.
