Slow Cooker Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti is the ultimate comfort food recipe that combines the rich flavors of a savory cheese sauce with tender chicken, all enveloped in spaghetti cooked to perfection.
Ingredients
Scale:
2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
12 ounces of spaghetti
2 cups chicken broth
1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of mushroom soup
1 can (10.5 ounces) cream of chicken soup
1 block (8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
Lightly grease the inside of your slow cooker to prevent sticking.
Place the chicken breasts in the slow cooker. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning. Pour the chicken broth over the chicken.
In a separate bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, and softened cream cheese. Mix until smooth and creamy. Pour this mixture over the chicken.
Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
Once cooked, remove the chicken and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the slow cooker.
About 30 minutes before serving, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and add to the slow cooker. Stir the pasta to ensure it absorbs the sauce thoroughly.
Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt. Cover and cook for an additional 20-30 minutes until everything is heated through.
Stir well, then sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley before serving.
